Students at Goole Academy can once again get full use of the school’s facilities after restoration work was carried out on the original building. Goole Hospital theatre manager hangs up scrubs

Goole man arrested after police execute £53million drugs bust
  A man from Goole has been arrested after officers from the Regional Organised Crime Unit and UK Border Force seized 536 kilos of cocaine with an estimated street value of £53million. Household water bills set to rise by more than five per cent

Local flood defence works hampered by wintry weather

Hospital buys therapy chair with donated funds
Patients at Goole Hospital are benefiting from a new therapy chair thanks to a fundraising walk which raised almost £3,000.
