East Riding Leisure have confirmed that the new six-lane bowling alley coming to the refurbished leisure centre is to be called Dockyard Bowl. Goole man arrested after police execute £53million drugs bust

A man from Goole has been arrested after officers from the Regional Organised Crime Unit and UK Border Force seized 536 kilos of cocaine with an estimated street value of £53million. The drugs were seized at the London Gateway port, near Thurrock, Essex, earlier this month. Household water bills set to rise by more than five per cent

Local flood defence works hampered by wintry weather

Bad weather has slowed progress on a £17m project set to strengthen flood defences on Dutch River near Goole which will help protect around 10,000 properties. Patients at Goole Hospital are benefiting from a new therapy chair thanks to a fundraising walk which raised almost £3,000. Boxing Club adopts CIO status
