East Riding Leisure have confirmed that the new six-lane bowling alley coming to the refurbished leisure centre is to be called Dockyard Bowl. A vote was held on Facebook, asking the public for help to name the new state-of-the-art addition to the new Goole Hub. The four shortlisted options were Neon Strike, Ouselight Strike, Leisure Lanes and Dockyard Bowl, with the latter receiving the most votes. Goole man arrested after police execute £53million drugs bust

A man from Goole has been arrested after officers from the Regional Organised Crime Unit and UK Border Force seized 536 kilos of cocaine with an estimated street value of £53million.
