After more than 50 years working at the ‘cutting edge’ of healthcare Chris Graygoose has hung up his scrubs for the last time after calling time on his NHS career in theatres. Chris, who has been the manager at Goole and Scunthorpe theatres since 2006, had set his sights on working as an electrician on the dockyards in Plymouth, but he was too young. Instead, he went to his local hospital every day for a week pestering them to give him a temporary role. They eventually relented, and he joined
