History was made when Goole Vikings Rugby League juniors travelled away to Bolsover Bulls for their first ever away fixture last Saturday. Tremendous triathletes

Sports enthusiasts descended on Goole Leisure Centre last weekend for the annual Goole Triathalon. The event returned to the town on Sunday, October 3 after it was forced to be cancelled last year due to the pandemic. Local runners medal at County Championship

Goole Youth Athletics Club scooped eight medals at the Humberside County Athletics Championship. The event was held at Grimsby’s King George V Stadium on Sunday, August 22. Natalie Walsh won two gold medals in the U17 women’s 100m with 13.97 and the 200m in 28.45. Two Drax bowls teams came head-to-head in the finals of a recent home competition. Captaining the Drax A squad was John Barber while Jim Longden captained Drax B. Nearly 300 people laced up for the Howden Ashes 5km and 10km runs. Members of Goole Kickboxing Cub have raised £1,855 in honour of one of their members who has been diagnosed with a rare tumour.
