Sewing Brigade are recognised with medals

The Marshlands Sewing Brigade group members have been awarded commemorative medals for supporting NHS staff during the pandemic.

The group created over 1,700 items of clothing for the frontline staff when scrubs were in short supply. Their efforts were acknowledged by the founder of the group Fran Ward, when she organised a garden party for the ladies, where they were awarded with medals by Cllr Caroline Fox. (16-09-203 SU)
