Howden Junior School held a jam packed activity day to send their year 6 pupils off to high school in style.

The school organised for an inflatable assault course and penalty shoot out to visit the school on Friday, July 23 as a final treat before the pupils leave the school. Doubtfires ice cream van was also on hand to provide an extra sweet treat and refreshment after the days activities. The surpise activtiy day was made possible by fundraising efforts from the pupils. Year 6 teacher, Miss Issit explained: “The pupils completed a sponsored walk to raise money to purchase new art supplies for the school. They managed to raise so much money that we decided to put it towards organising a surprise treat day for them before they leave us to go up to high school.”
