Beal Homes has taken the crown as Yorkshire’s best housebuilder for the fourth time after its “game-changing” Goole development.
The East Yorkshire-based company, which is currently building The Greenways development in Goole, took the title of Housebuilder of the Year at the recent Insider Yorkshire Property Industry Awards 2021.
It’s the fourth time the company has claimed the win in the past five years.
The judges recognised Beal’s vital contribution to the regeneration of Goole, with its investment in The Greenways - the town’s biggest residential scheme for decades.
The family-run company’s proactive response to the pandemic was also highlighted including their work in supporting homebuyers to complete their moves safely and their introduction of Covid-safe visits to marketing suites and show homes.
Richard Beal, chief executive of the company, said: “We’re deeply honoured to be named as Yorkshire Housebuilder of the Year - even more so as we have won this award time after time in recent years.
“This achievement is particularly satisfying as these awards are based on performance and activity across the Yorkshire property industry since early last year, just before the first lockdown, and through the extraordinarily challenging times caused by Covid.
He added: “I want to take the opportunity to pay tribute to our brilliant team who have coped with significant personal and professional challenges while continuing to provide a superb service to our customers and deliver developments and homes of exceptional quality.
“A very big thank you also to our construction and project partners, contractors and suppliers and, of course, every one of our valued Beal buyers – the support and loyalty of our customers is the key ingredient in our success and we couldn’t appreciate it more.”
