Teachers and pupils in Class Two at the school joined together to create an artistic thank you collage.
Mrs Pashley, Class Two teacher and Miss Chadwick, Class Two teaching assistant set their pupils the task of each creating a colourful drawing of a letter they were given.
The children were then asked to send in a photo of themselves holding up their letter and all the photos were put together in a collage to spell out ‘Thank you NHS and key workers’.
Twenty two children and the two class teachers featured in the cheery collage to show their appreciation.
Teachers at the school have been creating work sheets and tasks for the pupils to do while at home and Mrs Pashley came up with the fun task as part of the children’s home work.
She said: “Myself and Mrs Chadwick are very proud of the enthusiasm shown by all the children. We are missing each other a lot so we wanted to make a difference and show our support.
“We understand the importance of staying home and staying safe and we wanted to show our appreciation to all the NHS staff and key workers who are helping everyone at this difficult time. Thank you and lots of love from Class Two.”
