Officers from Humberside Police are currently in attendance at Goole Marina after a body was found in the water.
The police are currently present in the Albert Street area after they received reports that a body had been found at around 8.10am this morning.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “The man has not yet been identified and at this stage of our investigation his death is being treated as unexplained.
“A scene guard is currently in place whilst officers look to establish the circumstances of how he came to be in the water.
“Anyone with information can call our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 80 of 9 January.”
